Reproductive health of women was the starting point. Cultural barriers bowed to zeal and determination of our ‘all female’ field teams. As of December 2009, SWWS has provided reproductive health services to 215000 women in 150 villages out of five districts. SWWS contribute with different interventions including, capacity building support to service providers, established clinics after earthquake of October 8, 2005 when all houses as well as non housing structure were leveled. Provided health services through Mobile health service unit in IDPs camps. Revival of government health facilities in malkand division and ensured quality services for maternal as well as newborn children health. The process of social mobilization is the crux to initiate any development project. | |
