A Brief Profile

Introduction

Support With Working Solution (SWWS) was established in 1991. It was registered under the voluntary social welfare agencies Ordinance 1961 (XLVI of 1961) bearing registration No.DSW/NWFP/692.

Vision

Through an integrated approach, the Society wishes to beget social and economical uplift of the society, specially the women. This could create an environment in which women may be able to revamp their lives through the equitable and sustainable use of resources.

SWWS has completed its shelter project started at Muzaffarabad and the first shelter was inagurated by Mohammad Anwar Khan, President Government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. SWWS achieved the target of 20 shelters.
SWWS has signed an MOU with Abt.Associates under USAID funded TACMIL project to save lives of mothers and neonatal at three target districts of Swabi, Buner and Upper Dir. The project activities have beend started since january 1, 2009 with health depart.
SWWS board meeting held on December 11, 2008 chnage the name of Swabi Women welfare society as Support with Working solution. Board also appreciated the role of Ms.sadia and congritulate her on geting award from prime minster of paksitan.

SWWS has launched TACMIL project in three district of NWFP which were largely attended by local stakeholders and Executive District officer (Health).
SWWS continue health education and focus group discussion (FGD) at all three districts to improve health status of mothers and neonatal.
SWWS also completed watersupply schems along with installation of toilet at three target districts of AJK including bagh, Rawlakot and Muzaffarabad.
SWWS has successfullly completed the designing and installation of 86 clinics with Green Star Funding in six target districts of NWFP and AJK.
Swis Forign Minister Ms.Calmey Ray along with 10 members delegation including Director General SDC, Director South Asia SDC and media team has paid a day long visit to SWWS on May 5, 2006. She visited communities and met local SWWS staff.
